Windsor police searching for suspect using counterfeit money

The Windsor Police Service is appealing to the public for help in locating a man who allegedly used counterfeit money at a local pharmacy.

Police said on Friday, February 7 the suspect attended a pharmacy near the intersection of Dougall Avenue and Cabana Road West.

He allegedly used five counterfeit $100 bills to purchase gift cards.

Investigators said the LaSalle Police Service reported a similar incident on Saturday, February 8 involving a suspect matching the same description.

The suspect is described as white, 25 to 30 years old, 5'5" with a large build, light complexion, brown curly hair, moustache and partial beard.
