Meth, marijuana seized at Ambassador Bridge

Two people were stopped from crossing the Ambassador Bridge February 8 after drugs were seized.

The United States Custom and Border Protection (CPB) said meth, cannabis and cannabis products were discovered by CBP officers.

Officers said the travellers attempted to make a U-turn on the bridge deck but were intercepted.

The drugs were allegedly found after a K9 search.

Information on the suspects or if charges were laid were not immediately available.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
