Five displaced in Windsor fire

A fire in a South Cameron neighbourhood has left five people out of their home.

Windsor Fire and Rescue were called to the intersection of Everts Avenue and Kenora Street just before 1 a.m. Saturday, February 22.

Firefighters said there was $600,000 in damage to the raised ranch home.

Fortunately, there were no injuries.

Information on the cause was not immediately available.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
