Windsor police make arrests after armed home invasion

Three people have been arrested after an armed home invasion Saturday afternoon.

Windsor police said officers responded to a home on Elsmere Avenue between Hanna Street East and Tecumseh Road East around 1 p.m.

Witnesses reported two suspects were dropped off in front of the home by a third person.

The two suspects unlawfully entered the home, brandished a firearm and demanded money from the two occupants. They also took some items before the third suspect picked them up nearby.

Investigators believe the suspects and victims know each other.

Officers arrested two suspects later that day, and the third on Sunday. All are facing multiple charges, including robbery with an offensive weapon, uttering threats, break-and-enter, and committing robbery.
