Violent crime suspect arrested for breaching bail conditions twice

Windsor police bail compliance officers nabbed a suspect for allegedly breaking bail conditions twice in six weeks.

The 33-year-old man was granted bail from a Hamilton court while facing charges of assault with a weapon, possession of stolen property, and failure to comply with a release order.

His release conditions included house arrest in Windsor with electronic monitoring.

The man was arrested at the end of January for breaching his conditions. He was released again under the same conditions.

Police say they launched another investigation on February 27 after they received information that the man had breached his conditions again.

The 33-year-old was arrested on March 4 on Clarence Drive. He was charged with failure to comply with a release order and driving while under suspension.

The suspect's surety, a 31-year-old woman was also arrested and charged with one count of facilitating a breach of a release order.
