Erie Shores Healthcare holds measles vaccination clinic on Friday

Those who aren't vaccinated against measles can get their shot on Friday at the Emergency Department at Erie Shores Healthcare.

The clinic is open from 8:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. for those exposed to the virus.

Arrivals at the hospital need to call the Emergency Department before entering at 519-326-2373 ext. 4400.

The Windsor Essex County Health Unit strongly recommends those who were at the Erie Shores Walk-In Clinic on Tuesday from 12:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. before the end of the day.

Meanwhile, the health unit reported another exposure point at the Real Canadian Superstore in Leamington on Saturday, March 8, from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

Anyone exposed to the virus should monitor for symptoms for seven to 21 days after exposure.
