The statement is for Saturday evening into Sunday.
With the risk of thunderstorms, the region could get more than 40 mm of rain in some areas.
That could cause flooding in low-lying areas and water pooling on roads.
People in southern Huron and Lambton counties are being told to limit their time outside.
