OPP seek suspect in theft from Lakeshore business

Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are looking for a man suspected of stealing from a Lakeshore business.

Shortly after 6:30 p.m. on Friday, March 7, a man entered a business on Notre Dame Street in Belle River and allegedly took alcoholic beverages off shelves, then left without paying.

Police have released a surveillance camera image of the suspect.

He is described as a White male, 40 to 50 years of age, 5' 9", with a small build, 170 pounds, with grey hair and stubble on his face. 

Anyone with information on the man's identity should call the OPP at 1-888-310-1122. Anonymous tips may be submitted to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
