Windsor police confirm discovery of missing woman's body

A missing person's case in Windsor has come to a sad conclusion.

Windsor police reported on Friday evening that the body of 26-year-old Shilan Shahbazian has been found.

Details on the discovery have not been released.

She was last around 7 p.m. on January 4, 2025, in the area of Huron Church Road and Riverside Drive West.

Police say foul play is not suspected.

"Our thoughts are with Ms. Shahbazian’s family and loved ones, and we ask that their privacy be respected during this difficult time," said police in a tweet.
