Windsor police are seeking help identifying five people who tried to hold up a downtown jewelry store over the weekend.
Officers responded to a call at around 1 p.m. on Saturday to the business on Wyandotte Street East and Louis Avenue. They learned that a female suspect entered the store pretending to be a customer and then opened the door to allow four male suspects to rush in with weapons.
The suspects fled after an alarm was tripped. They were last seen fleeing westbound in a 2022 white BMW M3 reported stolen from York Region.
No one was hurt in the incident.
The first suspect is a Black female, 20 to 25 years old, 5’ 7” tall, and 140 pounds, with long white nails. She wore a black face mask, a long black robe with a hood, black leggings, white socks, and Adidas slides.
The second is a Black male, 20 to 25 years old, 5’ 7” tall, and 160 pounds. He wore a black face mask, a black jacket, orange gloves, black jogging pants, and white Jordan sneakers. He was armed with a silver handgun.
The third suspect is a Black male, 20 to 25 years old, 5’ 7” tall, and 160 pounds. He wore a black face mask, a black Adidas jacket, orange gloves, grey sweatpants, and white Jordan sneakers.
The fourth is a Black male, 20 to 25 years old, 5’ 9” tall, and 160 pounds. He wore a black face mask, a black jacket, black sweatpants, and white sneakers, and carried a black and red GoodLife Fitness bag.
The fifth suspect is a Black male, 20 to 25 years old, 5’ 9” tall, and 160 pounds. He wore a black face mask, a black Nike hoodie, green gloves, grey sweatpants, and black and white sneakers.
