Park improvements underway in two riverfront parks

Two park areas along Windsor's waterfront will see some improvements this spring.

Work gets underway this week at Assumption North Park and Centennial Park.

Grass restoration will be completed in Assumption North Park after new lighting was installed last summer between the base of the Ambassador Bridge and Askin Avenue.

The work is expected to take around 12 weeks.

In Centennial Park, work is being done to repair and restore the public staircase between Campbell Avenue and Bridge Avenue. The work will improve the safety and durability of the staircase.

The construction areas will be fenced off, but both parks will stay open throughout the work.
