Vehicle fires keep firefighters busy on Monday morning

The investigations into two vehicle fires early Monday morning have been handed over to Windsor Police.

The first fire was in a truck parked next to a building on Drouillard Road.

Firefighters were called to the fire between Seminole Street and Metcalfe Street just before 5 a.m.

The fire was out quickly, but a few hours later, firefighters responded to a second vehicle fire near Tecumseh Road East and Central Avenue.

A car went up in flames behind the Shell gas station.

Fire officials said that the fire looked suspicious, so it was also referred to Windsor Police.

The two fires are not connected.
