K9 officer Vinny helps arrest suspect in break-in

Police in LaSalle charged a 28-year-old woman after a break-and-enter early last Friday morning.

Officers were called to a home on Bondy Street at around 1:30 a.m., where someone who had a previous relationship with the resident had broken in.

The suspect was gone before police arrived, so they called the K9 Unit.

The woman was arrested nearby.

Paramedics took the woman to the hospital with minor injuries.

LaSalle Police said she faces several criminal offences.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
