LaSalle residents! Yard waste starts Saturday

The Town of LaSalle is urging residents to put their yard waste out Friday night because yard waste pickup starts Saturday morning.

Workers will accept yard waste in cardboard boxes, paper yard waste bags, and garbage cans.

Collection crews will not pick up waste in plastic bags.

For those unfamiliar, yard waste includes leaves, flowers, vegetables, plants, and fruit. If you must put out grass clippings, possibly later in the season, they should be in garbage cans. Tree and hedge trimmings must be tied in bundles no longer than 4 feet and 2 feet in diameter.

Yard waste is picked up across LaSalle every other Saturday until November.

Leaf collection starts on November 22 and continues on December 6.
