Three arrested for armed robbery

Three people, including two teens, were arrested in connection to an armed robbery last weekend.

Windsor police report that three masked suspects approached three men around 2:30 a.m. Saturday on Langlois Avenue. The suspects took turns pointing a black handgun at the victims and threatened to shoot them if they didn't hand over their personal items and cash.

The suspects took a victim's cell phone and ran.

Investigators identified the suspects and arrested two teens on Sunday. They also seized a black BB gun as evidence.

Police said a third suspect was arrested on Wednesday.

A 20-year-old was charged with assault with a weapon, pointing a firearm, uttering death threats, robbery, and breach of probation.

A 13-year-old and a 17-year-old are also facing charges of assault with a weapon, pointing a firearm, uttering death threats, and robbery.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
