Cyclist charged in road rage incident

A cyclist faces several charges after a road rage incident in west Windsor overnight.

Windsor police said they were called to Curry Avenue around 1 a.m. Investigators learned four people were driving westbound on Riverside Drive when they got in an argument with a cyclist who was trying to cross the street.

The individuals reported to police that the cyclist followed the car to a home on Curry Avenue and damaged three vehicles. When confronted, the suspect allegedly took out a weapon and threatened the complainants before taking off.

There were no physical injuries reported.

Police identified a suspect who was arrested a short time later on Lens Avenue. The suspect was charged with assault with a weapon, uttering death threats, and mischief under $5,000.
