Cops bag groceries on Thursday for Cop Camp

If you see Ontario Provincial Police officers at grocery stores across the region on Thursday, don't panic. They're not there to solve crimes but to raise funds for their Cop Camp.

Every year, the OPP take 80 students in grade 6 to Gesstwood Camp for a week of fun and leadership training.

The camp is free for the kids, but the OPP still needs to raise cash to support the activities.

Officers will be at the Kingsville Zehrs, Tecumseh Zehrs, and the Real Canadian Superstore in Leamington on Thursday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.

The OPP say anyone who goes can fill out a ballot for a gift basket.
