Driver charged following early morning crash in Lakeshore

Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have arrested a woman after an overnight crash in Lakeshore.

Officers were called shortly after midnight on Tuesday to a single-vehicle collision on County Road 2 near County Road 31.

The 28-year-old driver is charged with impaired driving and driving with excessive blood-alcohol concentration.

The driver's vehicle is impounded for seven days, and a licence suspension is in effect for 90 days.

The charges have not been proven in court.

The suspect will have a chance to respond to the charges in a Windsor court on May 2.
