Windsor's first punk rock flea market is on Saturday

A brand new event is coming to Windsor this weekend. It's the city's first punk rock flea market.

Thirteen vendors and artists will showcase an eclectic mix of handmade and sustainably sourced goods, arts and oddities at the Capitol Theatre's gallery space on Saturday.

The doors open at 4 p.m. and close at 9 p.m. Admission is free.

"Now more than ever, we think it's important to create spaces for Canadian-made goods and support local artists and vendors," said one of the event's organizers, Mike McCallum. "The punk scene has always been about DIY, and this market is a tribute to that ethos."

The flea market will also feature live acoustic sets by local musicians.
