Police dog tracks down B and E suspect

A 54-year-old is facing charges after a break-in at a Wyandotte Street business.

Just before 6 a.m. on Sunday, Windsor police were called to a business near Pierre Street after a report of a break-in.

Officers discovered a person had forcefully entered the premises, stolen merchandise and cash, and then took off.

Officers searched the surrounding area with the help of police K9 Link. The suspect was tracked to a backyard on Marion Avenue.

A 54-year-old was arrested and charged with break-and-enter and wearing a face mask in the commission of an offence.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
