Charges laid after arson

A woman is facing charges after a fire at a Wyandotte Street restaurant.

Just after 3 a.m. Tuesday, emergency services were called to Wyandotte and Louis Avenue.

Windsor Fire and Rescue Services extinguished the blaze.

The fire caused around $75,000 in damages. There were no physical injuries reported.

Officers identified a suspect after reviewing surveillance footage of the area.

The person was located and charged with arson causing property damage.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
