Windsor police seek man in multiple shoplifting incidents

Windsor police hope the public can help identify a man connected to a series of recent retail thefts.

Investigators say the suspect entered stores on Division Road off Provincial Road, and Tecumseh Road East near Jefferson Boulevard, on at least five separate occasions between March 8 and April 25.

Each time, the suspect took assorted Milwaukee-brand power tools and walked out without paying.

The suspect is described as a male, 30 to 40 years old, 5’ 11”, and weighing around 180 pounds. He has black hair, a moustache, and a beard.

A surveillance camera image of the suspect has been released.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
