UPDATE: Motorcyclist dead following east Windsor crash

Windsor Police have confirmed the death of a 51-year-old man in a crash on Sunday night on McHugh Street.

Just after 8 p.m., a westbound motorcycle lost control and struck a bridge guardrail near the WFCU Centre. The driver was thrown from the bike and was pronounced dead at the scene.

The crash closed McHugh Street between Mickey Renaud Way and Florence Avenue for hours while members of the Windsor Police Collision Reconstruction Unit investigated. It's now open again.
