Driver charged in multi-vehicle collision in Tecumseh

Three people were checked out in hospital after a multi-vehicle crash Tuesday morning.

Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) say it happened shortly after 7 a.m. on Manning Road at Baseline Road and involved four vehicles.

Three of the occupants were taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Tecumseh Fire and Rescue assisted OPP and Essex-Windsor EMS at the scene.

A 32-year-old driver from Amherstburg was cited for careless driving.

Manning Road was closed at Baseline Road for several hours on Tuesday morning for cleanup and investigation. It has since reopened.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
