Hours expanded at Mental Health and Addictions Urgent Crisis Centre

Hotel Dieu Grace Healthcare is expanding its hours of operation at its Mental Health and Addictions Urgent Crisis Centre.

The centre will be open 24 hours a day, Monday to Friday.

It's an alternative to local emergency departments for those experiencing a mental health or addiction crisis.

"Through this expansion of hours, along with 24/7 voluntary drop-offs for EMS and policing partners, the MHAUCC continues our efforts of creating a more focused specialized system and reinforces our role in the community as a crucial resource for those experiencing a mental health or addictions crisis who cannot safely wait for community mental health and addiction support," said the hospital.

The centre is located at 1030 Ouellette Avenue, next to the Goyeau Street entrance at Windsor Regional Hospital's Ouellette Campus Emergency Department.
