ENWIN donates award money to Habitat for Humanity

When ENWIN Utilities received the 2025 Local Distribution Company Performance Excellence Award earlier this year, it was asked what local charity would benefit from the $10,000 cheque that came with the recognition.

ENWIN opted to donate the money from the Doane Grant Thornton Foundation to Habitat for Humanity.

"ENWIN and Habitat for Humanity share a belief that strong communities begin with access, whether it's to housing, water, or energy," said ENWIN President and CEO Garry Rossi.

Representatives from the utility, along with Habitat staff and volunteers, met recently during an open house event at a building site on Brock Street to present the cheque and tour the home under construction.
