LaSalle Police nab suspects after theft from construction site

Two men from Windsor face charges after a break-and-enter at a residential complex under construction.

The LaSalle Police received a call about the break-in just before 1 a.m. on Saturday, and officers spotted men fleeing from the complex.

The two matched a description provided by the caller.

While investigating, police discovered the two suspects were spotted taking commercial machinery and tools from the site.

They quickly arrested the suspects.

A 24-year-old man and a 65-year-old man face break-and-enter charges and have a date to appear in a Windsor courtroom.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
