OPP blame Lakeshore crash on impaired driving

Another crash in Essex County is blamed on impaired driving.

The Ontario Provincial Police responded to a single-vehicle crash on Gracey Side Road near Lakeshore Road 301 just after 6:30 a.m. on Tuesday.

No one was hurt, but police arrested the driver and charged him with two counts related to impaired driving.

The 47-year-old Lakeshore man is charged with operating a motor vehicle while impaired by drugs or alcohol and operating a motor vehicle while over the legal blood alcohol concentration.

The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Windsor on July 27.
