Front Road Construction begins next month

Construction on Front Road in LaSalle could cause major traffic delays this summer.

A storm sewer reconstruction project between Reaume Road and Boismier Avenue is scheduled to start in July.

During the project, traffic will be reduced from four lanes to two and turning restrictions will be in place.

The project will include installing stormwater pies, storm chambers/manholes and catch basins. A new pump station will also be constructed at G. Craig Park near the Riverdance building and Adams Lane.

The work could continue into the spring of 2026. However, traffic lanes will reopen during the winter season.

The Town of LaSalle is holding a Public Information Centre meeting on Thursday, June 19, from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. to share project information with the public.
