TikTok door-knocking challenge hits LaSalle

A disturbing social media trend may have made its way to LaSalle.

The LaSalle Police Service reported multiple break-and-enter and mischief incidents between June 13 and June 14.

In all cases, the suspects kicked in the front door of the home and then fled. All of the incidents happened in the area of Ramblewood Drive between 11:30 p.m. and 2 a.m.

Police believe the incidents may be part of a TikTok challenge.

The Windsor Police Service reported similar incidents in the Forest Glade area in October 2024.

LaSalle Police are asking anyone with video surveillance of the incidents or that has been a victim to contact Constable Pavia at apavia@lasallepolice.ca.
