Municipal outdoor pools open this weekend

Those looking for a spot to cool off this weekend have another option. Municipal outdoor pools in Windsor and LaSalle this weekend.

In the City of Windsor, outdoor pools open on Saturday, June 28.

The city has seven pools.

* Atkinson Pool at 2005 Riverside Drive West

* Central Pool at 3301 Woodland Avenue

* Lanspeary Pool at 1250 Langlois Avenue

* Mic Mac Pool at 1125 Prince Road

* Remington Booster Pool at 701 Edinborough Street

* Riverside Centennial Pool at 6695 Wyandotte Street East

Sandpoint Beach is closed until further notice.

LaSalle opens its outdoor pool on Front Road this Sunday, June 29, but will be closed for Canada Day.

The town is offering free recreational swims from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
