Walkerville Distillery District Night Market cancelled

The Walkerville Distillery District Night Market on Friday June 27, has been cancelled due to the weather forecast.

“We do apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, but we are making this difficult decision to postpone due to the combination of lightning, thunderstorms, severe wind and extreme heat posing significant risks so for the safety of our staff, attendees and our vendors. We understand and appreciate the preparation and effort our vendors go through in leading up to the WDD Night Market and hope the community still supports our local small businesses any way they can," said organizers.

The event has become a staple of the summer festival agenda in Windsor-Essex over the past few years, offering an artisan market, live entertainment, food trucks, and beer from the Walkerville Brewery.

The next scheduled Walkerville Distillery District Night Markets will be held on July 25th, August 29th and September 26th.

Each market starts at 5 p.m. and wraps up for the night at 11 p.m. on Arygle Road in Walkerville.

The event is free.
