Pair face charges after break-in on Windsor Avenue

Two people face charges after Windsor Police found a hole cut in the side of a fence and a wagon filled with automotive parts.

Police were investigating a break-in at the property on Windsor Avenue, between Wyandotte Street East and Tuscarora Street, just before 4 p.m. on Thursday.

While officers searched the property, they found a man tampering with a parked truck and a woman. They arrested the pair.

A 44-year-old man and a 39-year-old woman are charged with possession of break-in instruments, break-and-enter, mischief over $5,000, and possession of property obtained by crime. The man is also charged with breaching a conditional sentence order.
