One arrested, one outstanding after big box robbery

Windsor police have arrested one suspect and are looking for another after a robbery and assault at a big-box store.

It happened around 7:30 a.m. on May 21 on Tecumseh Road near Crawford Avenue.

Police say a couple tried to leave the store without paying for several items. The man then assaulted the staff member who confronted them and took off with a woman in a vehicle.

The victim had non-life-threatening injuries.

On June 23, officers were called to a theft at a store on Walker Road. Police report that the woman identified in the earlier theft was also linked to this incident.

She was arrested for the theft and charged with 12 outstanding warrants related to theft, robbery and failure to comply with a release order.

An arrest warrant has been issued for 56-year-old Gary Bravo on charges of robbery and failure to comply with a release order. He is described as a white man, 6’2” tall, with a large build, and a grey goatee.
