OPP increasing patrols in Tecumseh neighbourhood

Essex County OPP will be increasing patrols in one Tecumseh neighbourhood after hearing from concerned residents.

Over the next few weeks, officers will be actively patrolling Arlington Boulevard.

Residents have complained about drivers speeding, failing to stop at stop signs, as well as aggressive and stunt driving.

"The OPP are committed to holding violators accountable and is asking the public to work together to create a culture of safety on our roads so everyone can join the OPP in promoting safe driving. Remember, the choices you make behind the wheel can impact lives, so please choose wisely and drive smart. We all share the responsibility of keeping our roads safe," said Constable Chris Ciliska, in a media release.

Anyone with information on impaired or aggressive driving can call Essex County OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
