LaSalle to hold public drop-in session on sewer work on Front Road

LaSalle residents interested in learning more about the town's LaSalle Detroit River Storm Sewer Outfalls Master Plan are invited to a public information session next week.

The master plan is expected to protect public and private property from stormwater flooding.

The first stage of the plan involves reconstructing the storm sewers on Front Road between Reaume Road and Boisimer Avenue. That project is underway.

In stage two, the master plan is completed as of this month.

Stage three is the public drop-in session at the LaSalle Civic Centre next Wednesday from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.

The public meeting will focus on the catchment area of Front Road between Victory Street and Malden Road, including an overview of the study, alternative solutions, evaluation criteria, and next steps.
