Police release photo in shooting investigation

Windsor police continue to investigate a shooting that stemmed from a road rage incident over the weekend.

Officers were called to reports of gunfire in the area of Riverside Drive and Pierre Avenue around 11 p.m. Saturday.

Police have now released a photo of one of the vehicles believed to have been involved in the shooting.

According to police, two vehicles were travelling east down Riverside Drive when an occupant in the suspect vehicle shouted obscenities at the complainant. Moments later, someone in the suspect vehicle pulled out a gun and fired. No physical injuries were reported.

The suspect vehicle is described as a light-coloured early 2000s Lexus.

The driver of the vehicle is described as a Black man in his 20s with short black hair. The front passenger of the vehicle is described as Middle Eastern man in his 20s with short black hair and a full black beard. The person in the back of the car is also descried as a Middle Eastern man in his 20s.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
