UPDATE: Health unit identifies two measles exposures in Leamington

If you were at the Real Canadian Superstore or Erie Shores Healthcare in Leamington last weekend, you may have been exposed to the measles virus.

The Windsor Essex County Health Unit issued measles exposure notices for the Real Canadian Superstore on Wednesday.

The exposure, for the entire building, was between 4 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. on Saturday.

The exposure at Erie Shores Healthcare was for Sunday between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. in the emergency department. That notice was issued on Thursday morning.

If you were at either location at those times, the health unit asks that you monitor yourself for symptoms for three weeks.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
