Windsor police look for suspect in residential break-in

Windsor police have asked the public to help identify a man suspected of breaking into a south-end home last month.

Officers were called on Wednesday, July 23, to the home on Roxborough Boulevard off Northwood Street, on a report of a break-and-enter. A laptop and a large speaker were missing.

The owners were out of town when the incident took place on around July 17.

The suspect is described as a White male between 30 and 40 years old. He was wearing a white sweater, knee-high jean shorts with cuts on the front, and a white Toronto Blue Jays hat with a blue or purple rim. He was carrying a black backpack and a blue duffel bag and riding a bicycle.

Anyone with information on the person's identity, or with security camera footage to share, should call Windsor police's Target Base Unit at (519) 255-6700, ext. 4350. Anonymous tips may be submitted to Crime Stoppers at (519) 258-TIPS (8477).
