UPDATE: Air quality improves in Windsor-Essex

Environment Canada said air quality has improved in Windsor-Essex in beyond. once again wildfire smoke has prompted it to issue a special air quality statement for Windsor-Essex.

An air quality statement that was in place for most of southwestern Ontario was lifted just before noon on Tuesday.

The agency previously said that smoke may not move out of the region until Wednesday.

Environment Canada continues to monitor air quality conditions, and recommends limiting activity outdoors when wildfire smoke levels rise.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
