Home prices down in Windsor-Essex last month

The average price of homes in Windsor-Essex went down 1.6 per cent last month.

The Windsor-Essex County Realtors' Association's monthly residential statistics revealed the average sale price was $592,092 in July 2025, compared to $601,917 in the same month last year.

While the average price was down in July, the average sale price of homes for the year to date is up 0.2 per cent compared to the first seven months of 2024.

There were 504 residential properties sold in July, 3.94 per cent more than July 2024. There were also 1.87 per cent more homes on the market than this time last year.

Overall, sales are down 3.77 per cent in 2025 compared to the first seven months of 2024.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
