Man facing charges after vandalism spree

A man is facing charges after several vehicles were damaged in South Walkerville over the weekend.

Police were called to Lincoln Road around 8 a.m. Saturday, where they found eight vehicles with damage ranging from $600 to $15,000 each.

Police watched surveillance footage from the neighbourhood and identified a suspect.

The 56-year-old was found at his home and arrested. He was charged with six counts of mischief under $5,000 and two counts of mischief over $5,000.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
