Suspect wanted for hate-motivated graffiti

Windsor police are looking for a suspect who allegedly sprayed hate-motivated graffiti along Ottawa Street.

On August 10, officers were called to the area and found multiple electrical boxes and garbage cans defaced with derogatory language targeting both racial and 2SLGBTQ+ communities.

Investigators got some surveillance footage that showed the suspect. He is described as a white man with long dark hair and a full beard. At the time of the incident, he was wearing a multi-coloured t-shirt, red shorts, black shoes and grey socks.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
