Windsor Regional Hospital looking to rebrand

Windsor Regional Hospital will start a rebranding process this fall.

While the new acute care facility will be named the Fancsy Family Hospital, the organization is looking for a new brand that fits the overall system.

"You have the overarching corporation which has multiple hospital sites and this is one of them, which will be the Fancsy Family Hospital," said David Musyj, former president and special advisor to the hospital.

The new name will better reflect the evolution of the organization. Each site will then be named individually.

The name for the new hospital on County Road 42 was selected after a $40 million donation from the estate of John Fancsy.

It's expected that the rebranding process will take a year to complete.
