LaSalle police seek suspect in fraud case

LaSalle police are seeking the public's assistance in locating a man involved in a theft and fraud incident.

On Thursday, officers responded to multiple complaints stemming from the theft of several wallets from a gym on Malden Road off Orford Street.

Police say the suspects used the debit and credit cards they allegedly stole to make purchases at various businesses across the region.

A male suspect has been captured on a business's security camera. Police are also looking for a woman who may have been involved.

Anyone with information on the man's identity or on the woman involved should contact LaSalle Police Constable White. Anonymous tips may be submitted to Crime Stoppers at (519) 258-8477 (TIPS).
