Walkerville Night Market returns to kick off Labour Day weekend

A family-friendly event is back on Friday night as a lead-in to the last long weekend of summer.

The August version of the Walkerville Night Market is set for 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. on Argyle Street between Brant Street and Wyandotte Street East, right outside the Blackburn Media Windsor studios.

The market features food trucks, artisan vendors, games, entertainment, and beer from the Walkerville Brewery.

The event has become a staple of Windsor-Essex's summer night market calendar, with thousands having attended on the last Friday of each month.

The final market of the year is scheduled for Friday, September 26.
