A Windsor man facing charges for drug trafficking was arrested earlier this month for violating his bail conditions.
The 53-year-old was granted bail in 2023 on multiple charges including possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking, resisting arrest, operation of a vehicle while prohibited, and breach of a release order.
The Windsor Police Offender Management Unit found the man was in violation of his bail conditions and he was arrested on September 5 on Dominion Boulevard.
The man is known as a violent offender by the Windsor Police Service. He was convicted of manslaughter in 2006 and served an eight-year prison sentence.
The Offender Management Unit is responsible for supervising high-risk individuals under court-ordered conditions like house arrest, curfews, and electronic monitoring.
