UPDATE: Collision claims life of cyclist in Kingsville

A 43-year-old cyclist has died following a collision with a car in Kingsville.

The Ontario Provincial Police were called to the area of County Road 20 near McCain Side Road around 11 p.m. Wednesday.

Police report the cyclist was pronounced deceased at the scene, while the driver of the car was uninjured.

The investigation is ongoing.

County Road 20 was closed between McCain Side Road and County Road 23 (Arner Townline) in Kingsville. It reopened at about 1:30 p.m. on Thursday.

There's no word on charges at this time.
