Windsor police seek suspect in store robbery

Windsor police are looking for help in identifying a man in connection with an armed robbery of a west-end business.

It happened at around 7 p.m. on Tuesday at a retailer on Tecumseh Road West near California Avenue. Police allege the man entered, grabbed some merchandise, and tried to leave without paying.

When confronted by store employees, the man pulled out a knife, made a slashing motion, then fled, according to police.

No one was hurt.

The suspect is described as Black, about 50 to 60 years of age, with balding white hair, and a white beard. He was wearing baggy jeans and a black and red Ecko brand hoodie.
