Tecumseh woman wins WINTARIO50 draw

A Tecumseh healthcare worker is the winner of a $50,000 windfall after playing WINTARIO50.

Jennifer Tessier says she usually plays LOTTO 6/49 and LOTTO MAX, but when the cashier at the store brought the WINTARIO50 draw to her attention, she thought she'd give it a try.

"When I realized how much I won, I was in disbelief!" she said. "I had to do a double take."

She shared the news with her family right away and plans to invest for the future.

She won the August 14th draw.

The winning ticket was purchased at the Shoppers Drug Mart on Manning Road in Tecumseh.
